Mrs. Catherine Marie Senn, 94, of 1601 Agency, died at her home at 4:30 a.m. Monday, after a long illiness.
She was born in Denmark Oct. 16, 1875, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Thoisen, and came to this country and Burlington when she was eight years old.
She was married Nov 5, 1896, in Burlington, to Rudolph J. Senn.
Mrs. Senn was a member of Trinity Lutheran church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Lillian Long, and Mrs. Milton (Vernice) Johnson, both of Burlington, and Mrs. Robert (Pearl) Dautremont, San Diego, Calif.; two sons, Edward Senn, East Moline, Ill., and George, Burlington; two brothers, John Thoisen, of Davenport and Christian, West Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. Dagmar Seitz, Burlington, and Minnie Thoisen, Davenport; 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Prugh's chapel, the Rev. G. A. Saathoff officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove.
