Rudolph John Senn, 84, 1601 Agency, died of heart attack while walking in his yard Sunday at 2 p.m. The police ambulance and fire department inhalator squad answered a call to his home, but he was pronounced dead on arrival by a doctor. Emergency equipment was not used.

He was born at St. Louis, Mo., Oct 5, 1872, the son of Rudolph and Barbara Moehn Senn. On Nov 5, 1895, he married Catherine Thoisen in Burlington.

He had worked at the butchers trade for many yeaars, and later worked at Murray Iron Works boiler shop for over 30 years, retiring 12 years ago. Senn was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his widow; two sons, Ed Senn, Moline, Ill., and George Senn, Burlington, three daughters, Mrs. Lillian Long and Mrs. Vernice Johnson, both of Burlington, and Mrs. Pearl Dautremont, San Diego, Calif., 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; two brothers John Senn, Burlington and Albert Senn, Clifton, N.J. one sister Mrs. Laura Schweitzer, Burlington; a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held from Prugh's Chapel Wednesday at 3 p.m. Rev G. A. Saathoff will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
