Agnes (Gribbins) Tucker, 91, Shelbyville, died Tuesday at Heritage House Convalescent Center, Shelbyville.

Born Feb. 29, 1908, in Marion County, Ky., she was the daughter of Leslie and Lou Rose (Bright) Gribbins. She married Josh Tucker on Dec. 24, 1923, and he preceded her in death on March 30, 1988.

Mrs. Tucker moved from Marion County, Ky., to Shelbyville in 1941.

She was employed at the Shelbyville Garment Factory for 29 years. She was also a homemaker.

She was a member of High Point Wesleyan Church, Beech Grove, and attended Vine Street Methodist Church, Shelbyville.

Survivors include two daughters, Anna Lou Dagley, Shelby County, and Mrs. Glen (Florence) Clapp, St. Paul; two sons, William Tucker, Boggstown, and Lee Tucker, Shelbyville; two sisters, Mayme Spurling, Shelbyville, and Helen Marlow, Lebanon, Ky.; two half-sisters, Margaret Price, Louisville, Ky., and Dorothy Brown, Lebanon, Ky., one half-brother, Harold Gribbins, Louisville, Ky.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, one sister, one half-brother and one grandson.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service with the Revs. Chester Hacker and Harold Gribbins officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
