Bobby Wayne Ashcraft, age 64, of Pine Bluff, died Monday, March 2, 2015, at his home.

Mr. Ashcraft was born August 13, 1950, in Warren, Arkansas, a son of the late Robert L. “Bob” and Louise Stone Ashcraft.

Mr. Ashcraft was reared and educated in Pine Bluff, where he attended the Pine Bluff schools. He came to Pine Bluff as a young child, moving here with his parents.

He was a member of Lemonwood Baptist Church, where he served as an usher. He was a self- employed carpenter and had been retired since 1990.

Mr. Ashcraft was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. “Bob” Ashcraft and Louise Stone Ashcraft; a brother, James E. Ashcraft and a nephew, Douglas Baker.

Survivors include his wife, Joanie Hisaw Ashcraft, whom he married August 29, 1980, in Pine Bluff; sons, Bobby Wayne Ashcraft II of Pine Bluff, Jeffery Wayne Ashcraft and wife, Saundri, of Flora; daughter, Jackie Lynn “Sissy” Ashcraft of Cherry Valley; sister, Patsy Taylor and husband, Dave, of Paragould; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews that he dearly loved.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 7, 2015, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors with Reverend Stephen Drye officiating.

Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Robinson’s Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
