William Leslie Frobose was born Aug. 7, 1951, at Lakeview Hospital, currently Presence United Samaritans Medical Center, in Danville to William E. Frobose and Rosemary Leverich Frobose of Danville.

He had one brother, Mark, for whom he was an inseparable and loving brother, companion and best friend during his entire life.

Billy was a kind, polite, patriotic, durable yet highly sensitive person who loved God, America, camping, family, restaurants and good cooking.

From childhood until his death he intermittently attended church at First Baptist and Rock Church of Danville and was a devout believer in Jesus Christ.

Bill went by many names. Billy, Willy, and Bill, but was known by most as simply "my friend."

A graduate of Danville High School, Bill was an excellent swimmer, baseball player and bowler. He also deeply enjoyed movies, Christian literature and television. Throughout his life Billy deeply loved his family, his friends and his cats. He openly and unselfishly shared his time and unique sense of humor with all. An avid gardener for most of his life, Billy regularly kept a garden where he grew and shared his delicious vegetables with everyone.

Billy worked at a number of professions, and was extremely proficient at using a chain saw and at cutting trees. He also was employed at different times in his life a Lowe's, McLeans and Anchor Hocking of Danville. Bill also regularly worked as an independent contractor in the area of yard maintenance, mowing lawns and general landscaping for most of his adult life.

During the latter part of his life, Billy unselfishly dedicated all of his time to loving and caring for his elderly father and to supporting his brother Mark and his family.

Billy will be deeply missed as a faithful brother, loving uncle, and dedicated loving son.
