After touching numerous lives, Lula went home to be with the Lord on May 25, 2006. She departed peacefully at Fort Washington Hospital in Fort Washington, MD, surrounded by her family.
She was the beloved wife of Lucious McAdoo; loving mother of Lillian Hill (Marion) of Fort Washington, MD, James McAdoo of Bath, NY, the late Lucious McAdoo, Jr., formerly of Boynton Beach, FL, the late Betsy Mae and Leroy McAdoo.
She is survived by 13 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 22 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends at JOHNSON AND JENKINS FUNERAL HOME, 716 Kennedy St. N.W., Washington, DC on Sunday, May 28 from 3 p.m. until time of Memorial Services at 4 p.m. The Homegoing Service and interment will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31 at Antioch Baptist Church in Pine View, GA.
