Richard LeRoy "Dicky" Crawford was born May 21st, 1937 to Lloyd Crawford Sr and Edna Van Hill.
He was married to Enid Crawford and they had six children; Sheila Crawford, Edna Crawford, Teresa (Kvidrea) Crawford, Richard Crawford jr, Paula (Bossert) Crawford, Juanita Crawford.
Richard was detective for the Wahpeton Police Department. Richard and Enid retired in Buffalo Lake, South Dakota.
Richard Crawford met the love of his life Enid Little Voice in St. Louis Missiouri, where they wedded. Richard and Enid lived in Oklahoma for some time and moved back to the Midwest area and made their home in Wahpeton, ND. They raised 7 beautiful children in Wahpeton and Sisseton SD. Richard was an avid outdoors man. He loved to hunt and fish.
Richard was involved in politics until he was forced to retire due to his stroke that left him paralyzed on one side.
Richard and Enid made a home on the South Side Buffalo Lake and loved hosting their family during the holidays. They spent a lot of time enjoying their grandkids coming down during the summer.
