Tombstone states that his wife's name is Sarah A.----, but clearly the records state that his wife is Ruth Torrey and that she died in 1866 a WIDOW at age of 84 years, as he passed on in 1848. Therefore this Sarah is in question. I find no record of this marriage to Sarah in Abington records and no divorce of Ruth????
I do not feel that I can connect Joseph and Ruth until this is clarified. Any help would be appriciated.
