June was born to the late Thomas Edward and Verna Mae Vinson Blomer in Kingsport Tennessee. Her family moved to High Point, N.C. when she was a child. On Febuary 6th, 1971 she married Michael Sneed and had two children, Heather and Tommy. She was a graduate of High Point Central High School and Davidson County Community College where she earned a Registered Nurse's degree. In 1988 June was employed by High Point Regional Hospital where she would work in the Emergency Room for twelve years. In 2000 she moved to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center where she served until her passing. In 2001 she married Richard Murdock.
