In loving memory of James Hamilton

James “Jake” Hamilton, 83, of Gainesville passed away Sunday September 4, 2011 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 7, 2011 at 1:00pm from the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Jarrard and Rev. Hoyt Skelton officiating . Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday September 5, 2011 from 7pm-9pm and Tuesday September 6, 2011 at the funeral home.
Mr. Hamilton was born July 19, 1928 in Jefferson to the late Robert and Dora Jackson Hamilton. He was retired from Con-Agra after 47 years of employment and currently employed with the Hall County Landfill and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Mr. Hamilton was preceded in death by his wife Fear Lou Knight Hamilton, brother John D. Hamilton, sisters Ruby Hamilton, Ida Parker, Maude Fowler, Eulene Reeves, Montine Sanders, and Idell Evans and one great grandchild Ethan Holden.
Survivors include his five daughters and five son-in-laws, three sons and three daughter-in-laws, 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
