Lynn Wilson Templeton was the fifth child born to George Ross and Mattie Templeton in Fowler, Benton County, Indiana. He lived in counties of Benton, Howard, Johnson, Washington and Clinton, Indiana while living in Indiana. When he was 21, he was playing baseball with Kansas State League and resided in Clinton Co, Indiana. When he was 22, he signed with the Indianapolis baseball team as shortstop. At age 28, in 1917, Lynn registered for the draft and listed Johnson County, Indiana as his residence. At the time of his father's death in 1928, Lynn was living in Detroit, Michigan. He remained there thru 1942 when he registered for WW II draft. He was 54 years old. On December 14, 1961, in his brother's obituary, Lynn was not listed as a survivor. It is unknown when he died or where he is buried.
