Ernie Epps died May 16, 2006. He was born February 15, 1927 to Lenox and Annie Epps in Grabeel (Ozark County), Missouri. He served in the Army Signal Corps during 1945 -1946 with the Occupational Forces of Japan. He attended College At the University of TuIsa. He retired in 1987 from the FAA Aeronautical Center, Oklahoma City, OK in Financial Management. Ernie is survived by his wife, Billie of Wichita Falls, TX; sons: Roger Epps and wife, Sharlotte of Tuttle, OK, Edgar Epps and wife, Brenda of Moody, TX, and Steve Epps and wife, Michelle of Collinsville, OK; step daughters: Toni Smith and Husband, Bruce of Bradenton, FL, Jean Ann Chasteen and Husband, Pete of Wichita Falls, TX; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Stella Stone of Chetopah, KS; two brothers: Freeman Epps of Pryor, Oklahoma and Calvin Epps of Tulsa, OK. Memorials may be made to: Hospice of Wichita Falls, TX, PO Box 4804, Wichita Falls, TX 76308. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, May 19, 2006 at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. Thursday, at Vondel L. Smith North Colonial Chapel.
