LAROCHE, ADELARD J., 85, of Wakefield St., passed away at home surrounded be his loving family on Monday, August 25, 2014. He was the husband of Florence M. (Calci) Laroche. The couple would have celebrated 64 years of marriage on September 4, 2014. A lifelong resident of West Warwick, he was a son of the late Adelard and Bertha (Lambert) Laroche.
Adelard was a foreman at the former Whitman Products for 39 years before retiring in 1994. He was a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.
He was the father of Deborah A. Mansour and her husband Anthony Jr. of Coventry, David A. Laroche and his wife Delma of Richmond, and Michael A. Laroche and his wife Lynn of Warwick. He was the grandfather of Anthony Mansour III, Michael A. Mansour, Jennifer Lee, Adam Laroche, Kevin Laroche, Justin Laroche and Sara Laroche; great-grandfather of Jacob Laroche, Nathan Mansour, Devan Mansour and Timothy Lee; brother of the late Robert Laroche. Adelard will also be missed by his faithful dog Tikki.
A Mass of Christian Burial followed by military honors will be Thursday at 10 am in Sacred Heart Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Disabled American Veterans (www.dav.org) will be appreciated. Arrangements are with the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, Coventry.
