Eleanor Anne (Clugston) Fisher, loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great- grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2014 at the age of 78.
She was born in Markdale, Ontario on October 11, 1936. Eleanor taught for many years for Edmonton Public Schools. Eleanor's many passions included playing the piano, pottery, bridge, Scrabble, bowling and travelling the world.
She is survived by her husband Warren; sisters Evelyn and Marilyn; children Anne, Steve (Jana), Darrin (Sandy), Kelly (Paul), Sherry (Ryan); 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Southminster-Steinhauer United Church on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 7:30 pm at 10740 19 Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either the Cross Cancer Institute or Southminster- Steinhauer United Church.
