Mrs. Vivian Adams age 90 of Hiawassee, Ga passed away on Saturday September 10, 2011. Mrs. Adams was born in Lakeland, Fl on October 14, 1920. She was a member of the Levy United Methodist Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She worked for Oklahoma tire and supply until she retired. She was a member of American Business Women Association, Book Club, and Bowling Team.
Mrs. Adams moved to Hiawassee with her husband Jim in 2000, living on Lovingood Road until moving to Brass town Manor. Vivian was a loving mother and grandmother. She was loved by many friends both here and in Arkansas. She will be missed greatly by them all.
Vivian is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Adams; her sister, Sue Cochran of Hayesville, Nc; her brothers, Jack Coleman and Dick Coleman. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Tom Garrison of Hiawassee; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Dawn and Scott Sweebe of Cody, Wyoming; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Rusty and Sue Garrison of Mansfield, Ga; three great granddaughters, Teresa Garrison of Noida, India; Heather and Brandon Coker of Riverdale, Ga; and Kaitlyn Garrison of Mansfield, Ga. She is also survived by her niece, Anne and Reverend Charles Sineath and niece, Jean and Phillip Shelton.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday September 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Charles Sineath will officiate. Internment will follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Monday September 12, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
