Adella Maude Hoover Flock, daughter of Charles W. and Harriet (Hoskins) Hoover was born February 27, 1882 near Narka, Kan., and departed this life at Topeka, Kan., March 11, 1957.
She was united in marriage to Oren Flock, July 10, 1902. To this union three children were born.
When a young woman Adella accepted her Savior and united with the Christian church at Narka, Kan.
She was a kind and loving wife and mother with the thought of her loved ones upper-most in her mind at all times.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
Left to mourn her departure is her husband, Oren of Belleville, a son Wendell of Hemet, Cal., two daughters, Ercel Staley of Fairbury, Neb., and Leila Yancey of Hebron, Neb.; five grandchildren and one great-grandson. One sister Dora Harlan of Hebron, Neb., two brothers, Clye Hoover of Belleville and Loren Hoover of Narka; and many other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 13 in the Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart chapel, Rev. Maurice Graham of the Christian church of Belleville officiating. Interment was at Ida cemetery.
