Harold was united in marriage to Janet Louise Grimmett on October 29, 1956, in Salem, Arkansas. He retired from the U S Air Force as a Senior Master Sergeant, serving his Country during Korean Conflict and Vietnam. Harold was a member of Salem City Council, Salem Lions Club and Salem United Methodist Church. He repaired appliances for many years and will be remembered as a loving husband, dad and grandpa.
Harold is survived by his wife, Janet of Salem, Arkansas; one daughter, Deborah Dumas and husband, Gary of El Dorado, Arkansas; a son, Dennis Paul Adams of Melbourne, Arkansas; two grandsons, Travis E Adams of St. Louis, Missouri, and Joshua Paul Dumas of El Dorado, Arkansas; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Shirley Collins, and a brother, Don Adams.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2015, Barker Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 AM, with Bro John Hodges officiating. Interment will be in Salem Cemetery at Salem, Arkansas, with services entrusted to Barker Funeral Home of Salem. Family will receive friends Monday, March 2, 2015, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Nick Painter, Joe Leslie, Rayne Markowski, Len Romine, Tom Romine and Jim Weathers. Memorials preferred to Arkansas Children's Hospital.
