Naoma Koch Kaufman was a daughter of Carl and Mary Muselman Rassi. She married Millard Koch on July 18, 1964, at Peoria, Illinois. He died May 20, 1976. She later married Benjamin W. Kaufman on April 7, 1984, at Peoria, Illinois. He survives in Morton.

Also surviving are five stepsons, Paul (Vickie) Koch, John (Janice) Kaufman, Michael (Jill) Kaufman, Neal (Barbara) Kaufman and Dennis (Debra) Kaufman, five brothers, Arnold (Lydia) Rassi, Carl (Marge) Rassi Jr., Elias (Pearl) Rassi, Solomon (Sharilyn) Rassi and Robert (Janet) Rassi, six sisters, Anna Freidinger, Marie Pfaffman, Margaret Romersberger, Mathilda Legel, Clara (LeRoy) Huber and Leah Warren, nine step-grandchildren and twelve stepgreat-grandchildren.

Her parents, two brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
