Harvey A. DeLong, 71 years old died yesterday at the home 144 North Van Brunt boulevard. He had been manager of the Kansas City Credit exchange for many years.

Mr. DeLong was born in Council Bluffs, Ia. and had lived in Taos, N.M., before moving here about forty years ago. He wrote short stories of the old West as a hobby.

In the DeLong home, Victorian, French and Oriental furniture that had graced the Joseph F. Corle home at 1232 Washington Street in the 80's has been in use several years. Mr. Delong leaves his wife, Estelle Bovard DeLong of the home, four sons Harvey A. DeLong jr., Wilmington, Del., George DeLong of Aneheim, Caif., Ellis DeLong of Taos and Ralph DeLong of Seattle, and three daughters Mrs. Elsetta Foutts 3517 Main street, Mrs. Mary Hayward and Mrs. Morilla Rogers Wilson both of New York.
