Terrel Wesley Langley, age 80, of Three Creeks, passed from this life on Friday, February 27, 2015 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado. Terrel was born on March 19, 1934 in Smackover, AR to the late Gladys (Bradley) Langley and Allie Bluford Langley. After high school, Terrel joined the US Marine Corp. He was then stationed in San Diego, CA where he served his country for four years during the Korean War Era. Later in life, Terrel spent eleven years as a missionary to Australia and nine years ministering in Arizona before returning back to Arkansas. He was the former pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Smackover, Corney Creek Baptist Church in Three Creeks and was currently serving as the pastor for Grace Baptist Church in El Dorado. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, whom will be greatly missed by all.
Terrel was preceded in death by his parents; step father, Lee Givens and by one brother, Allie B. "Doc" Langley Jr.
Those left to cherish his memory include; his wife of 55 years; three daughters; five grandchildren; two sisters; two brothers and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Bailey Funeral Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Langley and Bro. Billy Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Three Creeks under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado.
