ROFF, Oklahoma. - Maureen Elizabeth Davey - known as "Reenie" to her friends and “Grams" to her grandchildren died Sunday, June 10, 2007 at a local hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. She was born on August 22, 1937 at Irby, Wirral, Cheshire, England to Frank and Margaret Williams Gee.

She married Clive "Red" Davey on June 20, 1959 at 22 years of age at Irby, England.

She was an air traffic controller in the Royal Air Force in England and a home maker after immigrating to the United States in 1960, first to Texas and then to El Monte, California where she raised her two children. She was affiliated with the Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her husband, of the home of her daughter, a daughter and son in law, a son of San Pedro, California; two granddaughters of Oklahoma, a grandson-in-law of Oklahoma, a great grandson of Oklahoma, a sister and brother-in-law of England, and a brother and sister-in-law of County of Cheshire, England.

Memorial Services were held at Criswell Funeral Home, Ada, Oklahoma, on Thursday at 10 a.m in the Chapel.

Maureen's ashes were scatted in Colorado, a place she truly loved, by her children.
