She was predeceased by her parents, Leonard Guy Thirsk and Ruth Hibbard Thirsk (1891-1989); and her first husband, Cedric Leon Lawson. She was survived by her third husband, Jay Gorman Coberly; her two daughters; a step-daughter; one step-grandson; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
