Patrick came to the US in 1869(arriving 17 April in NYC) with his wife, Bridget and daughter, Catherine, on board the ship, United Kingdom (passengers #77, 78, 79).
Patrick located in the mining community of Eckley,PA and had two additional daughters, Grace and Isabella. He died during an incident in the Eckley coal mine in which the car he was unloading at the bottom of the slope rolled back by the mule crushing him against the car and the pillar of coal.
Patrick may have been related to the infamous, Alexander Campbell, an excused Molly Maguire, (also from Donegal, Ireland) and in Eckley,PA.
After his death Patrick's widow, Bridget, married Anthony Gallagher in 1872.
