Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Monday, September 15, 1980, at the Cole Funeral Home, Rev. Robert C. Watt officiating. Burial in Montrose Cemetery. Mrs. McCormick was born in Maple Grove Township, January 28, 1905, daughter of Labra and Margaret Henry Persons, and was a lifetime resident of Montrose. She married John D. McCormick on August 7, 1926, in Montrose; he preceded her in death in 1971. Mrs. McCormick was a member of the Montrose United Methodist Church, the W.S.C.S. and the Builders Club of the church. Mrs. McCormick and her husband were in business in Montrose for many years. Surviving are: 1 daughter, Mrs. Harold (Corine) Myers, Montrose,; 3 sons, Wayne McCormick, Montrose, Lt.Coll. Dean McCormick, Fort Collins, Colo., Bruce McCormick, Beulah, Mi.; 18 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Gail Persons and Don Persons both of Montrose. Cole Funeral Home Montrose.
