A. Leslie Shank, 72, of 15 Shank Lane, Milroy, died at 1 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, at his residence.Born March 27, 1942, in Siglerville, he was a son of the later Oliver Alvin and Willa J. (Nale) Shank. His wife, Sharon L. (Wyland) Shank, whom he married Aug. 29, 1998, survives.Also surviving are: children, Kevin Shank and wife, Bonnie, of Milroy, Shannon Merrifield and Troy Bentley, of Lock Haven, and "little sparkle" Danielle Erickson; four grandchildren, Eric, Lessli, Bailey and Troy Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Dakota and Brantley; and a brother, Daryl N. Shank, of Milroy.He retired from New Holland in 2003.He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Siglerville. He liked to farm and enjoyed hunting and fishing.A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27, 2015, at Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville, with Pastor Ivan R. Yoder officiating. Interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Siglerville.A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Medi Home Nursing and Hospice Care, 310 S. Main St., Yeagertown, PA 17099.
