On Sunday, February 22, 2015 Andrew Angelo Benvenuto died peacefully at Fairfax County Hospital. Andrew joins his Mother Filomena, Father Carmelo, and beloved siblings in heaven. Andy was born on May 27, 1928 in Hartford Connecticut. He is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Genevieve; Brother Jimmy and Sister Dolores; his sons and daughter-in-law's: Phil (Diane), Paul (Lisa), Joe (Barbara), and John (Karyn); and grandchildren: Daniel, Dylan, Rachel, Andrew, Vincent, David, Olivia, and Maria.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home on March 6 from 4 to 7 p.m. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church on March 7 at 12 Noon. Andy will be inurned at Arlington National Cemetery at a future date. Contributions, in lieu of flowers, should be directed in Andy's name to ECHO in Springfield, VA ( www.echo-inc.org ), or mailed to ECHO, 7205 Old Keene Mill Rd, Springfield, VA 22150; if necessary they may be contacted at 703-569-7972.
