Lucille attended Bangor High School and she was a member of the Glenburn Evangelical Covenant Church. She enjoyed hunting and fishing in her younger years, and later on she liked oil painting and writing poetry. Lucille was a very loving and caring person, and she was considered a second mom too many children in the family.
Lucille is survived by her sisters, Eva Grant and her husband, Malcolm, and Hatty Trafton and her husband, Dick; sisters-in-law, Maxine Braley, Margie Braley and Rowena Braley; stepson, Albert and his wife, Pat; stepdaughters, Susan and Edwinnia; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lucille was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Albert Briggs; brothers, Ernest, Peter, Charles, Lawrence, Willard, Elwood and Paul; and sisters, Lenora Dudley and Alicia Arsenault.
A graveside service will be held later in the spring.
