AMMETER, ADELE J. Adels J. Ammeter died peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on November 7, 2001 at the age of 62 years. Adele was born of Swiss descent In Georgia, U.S.S.R. on November 14, 1908. She was predeceased by her husband John In 1985 and their two daughters Gertrude In Infancy and Leonla In 1993. She Is survived by her only son Deltrlch (Patricia) of Sylvan Lake and their family Michael (Allison), Judy (Ken), Jackie and Heidi; Leonie's children Lamar, Cyndy (Tom); and 9 great grandchildren. She le also survived by a brother Eduard (Erika) In Switzerland and many nieces and nephews. Adele and the family immigrated from the ancestral homeland, Switzerland to Canada In 1937 to the Sylvan Lake area. After leaving the farm, they retired to Red Deer. The past few years Adele resided at the Sylvan .ake Seniors Lodge. The Funeral Service for the late Adele J. Ammeter will be held from the Memorial Presbyterian Church, Sylvan Lake on Monday, November 12, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Bob Wilson officiating. Interment will follow In the Sylvan Lake Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may bs made to the Memorial Prssbyterlan Church Memorial Fund.
