   Glen Carbon--Martin E. Evans, 52, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 1999, at St. Mary's Health Center in Richmond Heights, Mo.
   Born Feb. 21, 1947, in Glen Carbon, he was a son of Mrs. Ethard (Muriel) (Paddock) Halsey of Glen Carbon, and the late Lloyd Edward Evans.
   A U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, he was security coordinator at Boeing for 12 years and a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church and a 15-year member and past commander of American Legion Post No. 435.
   On Aug. 22, 1969, he married the former Connie S. Semic and she survives.
   Also surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Josey and Karl Schulz of Glen Carbon; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Marty and Amy Evans and Neal Evans, all of Glen Carbon; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Mickey and Annette Evans and Harry Van Evans, all of Glen Carbon; and two grandchildren, Jacob Schulz and Maggie Evans, both of Glen Carbon.
   Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Irwin-Scott Chapel in Glen Carbon.
   Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
   Father James Harris will officiate.
   Burial will be at Glen Carbon City Cemetery.
   Memorials may be made to St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
