FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR ELLA J. LUND

Funeral Services were held in the Mount Pleasant Second Ward Chapel on Wednesday, October 23, 1974 for Ella Christine Justesen LUND, 96, formerly of Mount Pleasant who died at the Midgley Manor Nursing Home in Murray after a short illness.

Mrs. LUND was born in Spring City on May 29, 1878, a daughter of Peter and Christine Rhoda JUSTESEN. She married Hans LUND on October 09, 1901 in Chester. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Mr. LUND died on June 25, 1971. She was a member of the LDS Church where she was a visiting Teach in the Relief Society for many years and also worked in the Primary. She was a good neighbor always helping others in need.

She has lived in Salt Lake City for 35 years.

Survivors include son, Howe J. LUND, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Grandford (Madora) HANSEN of Fairview; Mrs. Margaret STEVENSON of Midvale; fifteen grandchildren and thirty-five great-grandchildren.

Burial was in the Mount Pleasant City Cemetery under the direction of Jacobs Mortuary.
