Services for Mrs. Augusta M. Holub, 81, of 313 S. Sycamore were to be Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Apfel-Butler-Gedes Funeral Home here with the Rev. Charles Olsen of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial was to be in Westlawn Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the First Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Holub was born Feb. 14, 1896, at Ravenna, the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Albert Gehrke. She died Friday at a Grand Island hospital. She was educated in the Ravenna schools and on June 1, 1915, married Gus Holub at Ravenna. The couple made their home there until 1937 when they moved to Grand Island. Mrs. Holub was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Order of Eastern Star and the EUT Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Robert of Longmont, Colo., and Dale of Torrance, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Edith Mickish of Greeley, Colo.; a brother, Rudy Gehrke of San Leandro, Calif., and four grandchildren. Mrs. Holub was preceded in death by a sister.
