Parents were Thomas Robbins Marshall and Hannah Jane Shaw. Husband to Jean (Jennie) Hurt; father to Dorothy "Dottie" Allin Marshall. Passed away just weeks after his daughter's birth and after just arriving in California from Arkansas. Made the trip from Arkansas to California with his in-laws: William B. and Susan P. Hurt. Also with sister-in-law, Mattie Hurt.
