30 NOV 2020, Memorial notes at time of transfer. Added gender. Note that there is a record for him in another cemetery, not sure if one or the other could be a cenotaph. The one reported in Oak Hill Cemetery in nearby Siloam Springs, Arkansas (with the same information) doesn't have a marker, however. Best evidence rule - for now is this one, and we know it was recorded by a canvass and survey in approximately 1970, as being here at Bell. [Merge would have to be done by FAG, since they were created in two different cemeteries; one in Oklahoma and one in Arkansas - about a mile apart.]

15 NOV 2022 Notice from FAG that a merge with a duplicate memorial had occurred.Funeral service for C.W. "Bill" TILLERY, 68, father of Charles W. TILLERY Jr., and uncle of Claud TILLERY of Westville, was held Sunday afternoon, January 3, at 2:30 o'clock in the Bethel Church, west of Siloam Springs, Ark., with the Rev. Jerry HOPKINS officiating. Interment was in the Oak Hill CEMETERY, Siloam Springs.

Mr. TILLERY, a retired farmer who was born May 27, 1891 near Siloam Springs, Ark., died January 1, in the Memorial hospital in Siloam Springs, after an extended illness.

Surviving are six sons, Terrel, U.S. Air Force; Charles W. Jr., Westville, James, Kansas City, Mo., George L., Fort Worth, Texas, John, Tulsa, and Frank, Siloam Springs; four daughters, Mrs. Ellen NICHOLS, Miami, Fla., Mrs. Della WILLY, Sand Springs, Mrs. Corrine RODMAN and Mrs. Helen PICKELL, Siloam Springs; five brothers, Gus, Siloam Springs, Jim and Vernon, Stockton, Calif., and Floyd, Peoria, Ariz.; three sisters, Mrs. Victoria SIMPSON, LaHabra, Calif., Mrs. Bertha FORREST, Redding, Calif., Mr. Daisy PALMER, Scottsdale, Ariz.; and twelve grandchildren.
