Mrs. Charles Best Dead.
Mrs. Cora E. Best, wife of Charley Best, who resides abut three miles south of Admire, died early Monday morning of heart disease, at the age of twenty-four years.
Mrs. Best maiden name was Radabaugh and she was born in Cowley county, Kans., but was reared by Uncle Bobby Best from childhood and educated at the Bunker Hill school in this township. She was married to Mr. Best in 1880, and only one child, which was born about ten days ago, was the fruit of their happy union. The deceased leaves a father, mother, brother, husband and son, with a score of friends to mourn her loss.
The funeral was held at the Ivy church Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock conducted by Rev. Otto, and although the day was dark and rainy, the church was crowded with sympathizing relatives and friends to pay their last sad tribute to the dead, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Ivy cemetery. Mr. Best has the sympathy of the entire community in this his sad hour of the affliction by the loss of a loving wife, mother and help-mate.
