Chico, California -- Elsie Elizabeth Ferguson Campbell, 89, of Provo, died Friday, Dec 12, 1986 in Enlod Hospital in Chico, California of cancer.

She was born Dec 5, 1897 in Provo to Frederick and Elizabeth Agnes Baum Ferguson. She married Allen Earl Campbell. They later divorced.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

She worked for D & H.G.W. Railway. She also was employed for Provo City as the Provo City Recorder for (38) years.

She has lived with her son, Ralph Campbell in Orland, Calif. for the past three years.

Survivors include one son, Ralph Ferguson Campbell, Orland, Calif; nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; one sister of Portland, Oregon.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Provo City Cemetery, 610 S State, Provo. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 E. Center Thursday, 6-8 p.m. or may meet at the cemetery on Friday.
