She was joined in marriage to Walter Stanley, Apr 12, 1842 making her home during most of her married life in New Britain, Conn. Six children were born to them— five sons of whom all are now dead and one daughter, Mrs Emma Cameron who survives her. Mr Stanley died in 1870.
Mrs Stanley and her daughter first came to Franklin in 1889 since which time with short intervals of absence it has been their home. Mrs Stanley passed away suddenly March 3 at the age of 82 years. Interment made in the Franklin cemetery.
