Ellsworth "Elsie" Carlyle Bickel, 90, of Goshen and formerly of Millersburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22, 2015, at IU Health Goshen Hospital. He had been in failing health the past few weeks.
He currently resided at Courtyard Healthcare, Goshen and previously lived at Greencroft and for 60 years at his home in Millersburg.
“Elsie” was born July 27, 1924 in Elkhart County to Adam and Eva (Klingaman) Bickel.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, nind year old Charles in 1941, Harold, Forest and John Edward; and three sisters, Oretha Stickler, Gladys VanNess and Geneva Spangler.
“Elsie” worked several jobs in the area including Wilson’s Feed and Coal, Farm Bureau Co-op in Goshen, Millersburg Lumber and Carriage Inc.
