Kay became a member of Martha Reid 19 UDC on 15 March 1979 on the service record of her great great uncle, Abner Hampton Arnold, CSA, Pvt., Co. K, 61st Alabama Infantry. We are sadden to lost a treasured daughter. She was a dear friend to all she knew and so full of life.

Obituary - Eola Kyzer Treadwell, known to her friends as "Kay", passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015 surrounded by her family and friends.

She was born in Mims, Florida, attended the local schools, graduated from Titusville High and later FCCJ in Jacksonville. She moved to Jacksonville during World War II and worked for a number of years in the general superintendent's office at the Atlantic Coast Railroad Company. She married her childhood sweetheart, Raymond (Ray) Treadwell in 1945 when he returned from duty in England. She loved God, her family, friends and life. She was a member of Southside United Methodist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Periwinkle Garden Club, Heritage Sunday School Class, San Jose Country Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell and Freddie Kyzer and her brother, Lawrence Kyzer, and her husband, Raymond P. Treadwell.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Joyce T. Fields and Janice T. Waters (Hal); her granddaughters, Amy (Cole) Peterson, Lori (Steve) Musser, Julia and Emily Waters; five great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Raelee, and Carson Peterson, Clayton and Nathan Musser; three sisters-in-law, Ann Simmons, Helena Petrocci, Jackie Treadwell; and many nieces and nephews. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from five o'clock until seven o'clock in the evening on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at The Oaklawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at eleven o'clock in the morning on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Southside United Methodist Church, 3120 Hendricks Avenue, 32207. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Southside United Methodist Church, Community Hospice of NE Florida, or charity of your choice.

HARDAGE-GIDDENS, THE OAKLAWN CHAPEL, 4801 San Jose Boulevard is serving the family.
