He loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and watching Western movies.
Survivors include his daughters, Sherry (Charles) Miller, Victoria Asbery, 3 grandchildren, James C. asbery III, Allisha Asbery and Tyler Asbery, 4 great grand children and 2 siblings, Anna Herzog, Bernard Asbery.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Asbery, son, James Asbery II and his sister, Sylvia Phelps.
