Services for Fred Alexander, 87, of 1746 Walker St., who died of a stroke Thursday in New Haven Rest Home, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hamilton's Funeral Home with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery.

He was born in Missouri, lived 60 years in Des Moines and retired 12 years ago as a maintenance man. He was a member of the Beams of Grace Church.

Survivors are a brother Gilbert, Glendora, California, seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.
