Days Gone By
___________
I often think of days gone by
While sitting here alone.
And many are the times I take a good long cry
When there's no one else at home.
I cannot help it, my eyes fill with tears
when I think of the friends who are gone,
and me all alone in my old years,
to journey on all alone.
Just why I was left I cannot tell
Nor why it had to be.
But he who doeth all things well,
will someday call for me.
