"SHERIFF'S SALE
District Court, Parish St. Landry, No. 13307
JUSTINE ROBIN, WIFE, vs. ALCIDE DEKERLEGAND, HUSBAND, ET AL.
By virtue of a writ of Fi. Fa. issued by the Hon. the District Court in and for the parish of St. Landry, in the above entitled suit and to me directed, I will proceed to sell at public auction to the highest bidder, at the principal door of the Court House, in the town of Opelousas, parish of St. Landry, on SATURDAY, January 6th 1883, at 11 o'clock A. M.: the following described property, to-wit:
1. One lot situated in the town of Arnaudville, with buildings and improvements thereon, consisting of dwelling and store house, bounded north by Roger Bros., east by Front street, south by Fuselier street, and west by property of J. B. Bergeron.
2. About four acres of land situated in the town of Arnaudville, bounded north by Paul Blanchard, East by _______, south and west by lands of Dr. Martin.
3. One hundred and fifty acres of land, situated on the east bank of Bayou Teche, bounded north by lands of Mrs. R. J. Smith, east by _____, south by lands of A. Durio, and west by Bayou Teche.
4. A certain tract of land situated in Prairie Laurent, purchased by said Alcide Dekerlegand from Sostène Legrange, measuring fifteen acres, bounded north by public land, east by lands of Louis Dekerlegand, south by lands of Mrs. H. Bernard, and west by Démosthène Québédeau.
5. One note of seventy-two dollars, drawn by Mrs. H. Bernard in favor of Alcide Dekerlegand, payable on the _____ day of August, 1883.
6. About twelve hundred pounds of cotton in the seed.
