Bob Castor passed away at the age of 66 following a long illness. He was long time resident of Carlin. Bob was born to Clarence and Hazel Castor. He was raised in Colorado. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 until 1956. He worked for Newmont Mining Corp for the past 34 years. His sisters, Leota Shumway and Roberta Stewart, both of Moab, UT, and Beverly Burnett of Paonia, Co; brother, Bernie Castor of Auburn, WA; and several nieces and nephews survive him. His parents; a brother, Boyd Castor; and two sisters, Juanita Pehrson and Wanna Mae Lancaster, preceded Bob in death.
