Mrs. Ferdinand DePatie

Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Rehn attended services on Monday, August 28, in St. Bruno's church, Nadeau, for her mother, Mrs. Ferdinand DePatie, 66, who died on August 24 at the Mid-County Nursing Home in Talbot. She had been a resident there for the past six months.

The former Adele Jamar, Mrs. DePatie was born Feb. 23, 1895, in Nadeau, and was married there to Mr. DePatie on Nov. 7, 1922 in St. Bruno's church.

She leaves in additon to Mrs. Rehn; her husband; seven daughters, Mrs. Arvid (Doris) Pesola, Pinkney, Mich.; Mrs. Arthur (Dorothy) Newcom, New Boston, Mich.; Mrs. Fred (Rita) Peters, Southfield, Mich.; Mrs. John (Eileen) Malone, Hermansville, Sister Irene Bernadette, (Barbara) of Oaklawn, Ill.; Mrs. Wilhelm (Wilma) Nelson, of Roseville, Mich.; Miss Mary Ann DePastie, Cleveland; four sons, Russell and Francis, of Carney, and Allen and Walter, of Racine, and 12 grandchildren.

The Rev. Fr. Gino Ferraro, celebrant of the requiem high mass, was assisted by the Rev. Fr. Walter Franczek, deacon, and the Rev. Fr. Thomas Ruppe, sub-deacon. Burial was in the Nadeau Township cemetery. The Deihm Funeral Home was in charge.

Pallbearers were Emil, Raymond and Joseph Casimir, Willard and Howard Betters, and Walter Chaput.
