Ocean Takes Lives of Two in Single Day
......John C. Abersold, 50, of Arlington died at 5:45 when caught in a run-out at Jacksonville
Beach. Abersold's wife called the Jacksonville Beach Patrol who responded quickly but
efforts to revive him failed. He died at 7 P. M.
The Abersolds were swimming 12 blocks from the nearest Jacksonville Beach life guard
station and three blocks from the nearest Neptune Beach guarded area.
