Gertrude “Trudy” Grotjohn, 86 of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at her home.
Survivors include her sons Robert (Cherie) Grotjohn, Peoria, AZ, James (Laurie) Grotjohn, Sioux Falls, SD; daughters Linda (Steven) Isebrand, Sioux Falls, SD, Debra Grotjohn, Sioux Falls, SD, Michelle Grotjohn, Lennox, SD, Kari (Doug) Engesmoe, Lennox, SD; son-in-law Marvin Holthe, Sioux Falls, SD; sister Shirley Morency, Red Wing, MN; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be directed to the Sioux Falls Humane Society.
Memorial visitation will begin at 8 am with the family present from 2 to 4 pm on Sunday, September 8, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home, 13th & Main. A memorial service will be held at 10 am on Monday, September 9, 2013, at the Miller Funeral Home Chapel with burial at the Hills of Rest Memorial Park.
