The 1920 census shows Michael and Katherine Sullivan Meehan living with their son, James, on a farm in Albany Township, Bradford County, PA. Two of Katherine Sullivan Meehan's brothers, Michael Sullivan and Morris (sic) (Maurice is the correct spelling as shown on his tombstone at St. Basil's Cemetery in Dushore, PA) Sullivan, lived on farms nearby. The 1930 census shows Michael Meehan living with his son-in-law, James Morrison, in Wysox Township, Bradford County, PA.
Katherine Sullivan Meehan had died before the 1930 census, and Mary Meehan Morrison, daughter of Michael and Katherine Sullivan Meehan, had died in 1924. Michael Meehan died on August 11, 1932 at age 79.
Based on the census data summarized above, Michael Meehan and Katherine Sullivan Meehan were married in 1875, and their oldest child, Nora Rose Meehan, was born in 1876 and died in 1915 at age 39. Nora Rose Meehan married John McGovern (1865-1950) in 1906 at St. Francis Xavier Church, Overton, PA. One of their daughters, Mary McGovern (1910-1994) married George R. Bahl (1901-1981), and they lived on a farm in Forks Township, Sullivan County, PA. Mary McGovern Bahl was a school teacher before her marriage and the elected Forks Township tax collector for many years. George and Mary McGovern Bahl were childless; they are buried at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Overton, PA.
