She was the wife of Raymond Harvey Hacker.
Born in Kutztown, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Brey and Hilda Anna (Sensenderfer) Nester.
She and her husband owned the School House Hotel, Wernersville and Dining West, Wernersville. She also worked for the Reading Hospital for over 18 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Donna Lee, widow of Skeet Eby, Fleetwood. Also surviving are two sisters: Bernice Jean, Reading and Ruth Edna, N.C. A granddaughter, Denise L. Heffner; two grandchildren: Seth and Devon and two great-grandchildren: Jayden and Isaiah survive her.
Doris was predeceased by nine siblings: Florence, Howard, Shirley, Eleanor, Jay, John, Patricia, Michael and Joanne.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
