Artist. An African-American sculptor, she studied in Paris, France, where her work was exhibited at the Paris August Salons, and at the Salon d’Automne . In America her works were exhibited at the Harmon Foundation and the Whitney Sculpture Biennial. Her pieces were part of the “Four from Providence” exhibit at the Bannister Gallery of Rhode Island College. Her best known work was called "Congolais." She died in poverty and obscurity.
