Obituary of Agnes Roe Adams

Biloxi Agnes Roe Adams, age 90, of Biloxi, passed away on February 14, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles A. Roe and Dr. Andrew J. Adams, Jr., her parents, Franklin and Florence Gaddy, 2 sisters, Julia Mae Gaddy, Clarice Hobbs, and 2 brothers, Edwin Franklin Gaddy, and William Aaron Gaddy.

Survivors include her son, Dr. Larry A. Roe and wife Cathy Haynie Roe, and a daughter, Lynn Estes and husband Jimmy Estes, 4 grandchildren, Justin and Colin Roe and Leslie Estes Shavers and Kelley Estes Winstead, 1 great-grandchild, Anna Kelley Shavers, a sister, Geneva Crane, and other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Adams enjoyed photography, gardening, and sewing. She was a former member of the Civil Service Commission in Biloxi, the Biloxi Eastern Star Chapter 50, the MS Republican Women, Beauvoir United Methodist Church, the Biloxi Yacht Club, and United Daughters of the Confederacy.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 20, 2015 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Rd., Biloxi. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will be in Southern Memorial Park.
